Mike Thorne - Owner, Engineer, Producer
Mike’s been playing, recording and mixing music for over 25 years, including the last 15 years with a focus on mastering audio.
He’s worked with hundreds of bands from dozens of labels including The Brand New Heavies, Matt Berry, Sean Lennon, Ian Siegal, KT Tunstall, Procol Harum, The Big Town Playboys, Sylvia Massey, Big Joe Louis, New Street Adventure, Paul Lamb and the King Snakes, IMT Smile, André Heller, Fay Hallam, The Bluesonics, Lazy Lester, Rodreguez, Chris Corcoran, Mike Vernon, Magnus Carlson, Matt Schofield, Sony Records, Universal Music Group, PIAS, Acid Jazz Records, BBC, Sky, Audio Network, Reliable Source Music and many more.
For the same amount of time, Mike has also toured in over 30 countries as a professional drummer, including the USA, South Africa and most of Europe.

Petra Biedermann - Owner
Petra has worked in the music industry for more than 30 years as a tour manager and photographer. She and Mike started Rimshot together 15 years ago and strive to offer clients a relaxed and welcoming vibe.
Joshua Holland - Engineer
Josh has been engineering at Rimshot for over six years and clients love his can-do-anything approach.
Josh is also an accomplished songwriter/producer and is based in hastings, Kent.
His writing & producing genres go from Electronic Dance to Funk, Pop & Rock, taking influences from artists like Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Franz Ferdinand, Duran Duran, Blondie & Dragonette.
Tiger - Tech wizardry
Tiger has established himself as indispensable to session morale and is often seen occupying his favourite listening position in the control room.
